Champion of Larry Flynt’s Grand Slam of Poker

Phan learned how to play poker from his mother as a child and eventually progressed from those early lessons to a lucrative career. He finished in the final three tables at the huge-field 2005 WSOP Main Event for a cash of over 300K, and has also performed strongly at Los Angeles area tournaments, winning the Grand Slam of Poker Main Event and finishing second in the California State Poker Championship.
