Sam Trickett is undoubtedly one of the  world’s biggest poker talents ; with over 4.6 million in winnings and a thirst for the high stake cash games,  Trickett is the complete player with the rare ability to ‘crush’ both tournaments and cash games.  2010 was full of  deep runs,  and a slew of final tables which included seven WSOP cashes,  an EPT Final Table and The World Poker Open Title.  The burning question on everyone’s lips was could Trickett repeat his amazing success in 2011? The answer was a resounding “yes!”.  Little could have prepared the poker community for the run Trickett  was about to embark on in January 2011; First of all winning the $100,000 Super High Roller at the Aussie Millions and then five days later taking  runner-up spot in the record breaking $250,000.  Not content, Sam jumped on a plane and headed for the high stakes action of Macau, here he booked another winning session which was estimated at 1.1 million.  

At just twenty-four years of age he has had the success only many of us could dream of, but Sam will always keep his feet firmly on the ground; attributing his success to his family, friends and a competitive streak that won’t ever allow him to rest on his laurels. This year he has his sights firmly set on more titles and a World Series of Poker bracelet, after several near misses.
