Shawn Buchanan has won over $3.4 million in live tournament winnings.  Online, he is approaching another million in earnings.

Shawn entered his first tournament at the 2004 World Poker Challenge. Playing $1,060 No Limit Hold'em, finishing in third and winning $22,829. This sparked his interest in poker, and he continued to play.  Buchanan won the 2007 World Poker Tour Mandalay Bay Poker Championship $10,000 No Limit Hold’em event, and won a cool payday of $768,775.

Shawn continues to play and win both live and online.  He won $812,941 for his second place finish in the WSOP 2010 $25,000 No Limit Hold’em Six Handed Event.  Most recently, on January 16, 2011, he won Poker Stars EPT Caribbean Adventure $5,000 8 Game Championship for $63,290.
