Born in Sao Paulo in July 16, 1975, Juliano is one of the most well-known poker personality in Brazil. He created Flop magazine and the Flop Awards, which changed how the game is now seen by the Brazilian society, with better eyes for the competition and social side of the game. Besides his work in Flop, Juliano used his love for poker as a competition and founded the Brazilian Tournament Director's Association (ADTP), and is also a TV commentator in poker shows for more than 2 years. Being known as a very friendly and calm player, Juliano moves very well amongst all circles of poker players from his country and abroad, and is commonly found in projects and disputes that are pro-poker, either in politics, magazines, websites and television. Having little time for the actual playing of poker nowadays, Juliano's best result up-to-date is the 10th place finish at the WSOP Event 51 - S.H.O.E., a historical result for mixed games players in Brazil - where he also lead the National H.O.R.S.E. ranking and was voted by his peers as the Best Mixed Games Player in 2008. Juliano graduated in Communications - Film and has worked in Video, TV and Film productions for more than 15 years, before finding poker as a new passion. Today, he tries to merge the two subjects and is about to launch the first 100% Brazilian poker show for television, which will include players and celebrities side-by-side.
