  • Summary
  • Felipe Ramos - or "Mojave" as he is known to his Brazilian friends and fans - is an all-around player having great results both live and online. Mojave has great PL Omaha results and is a creative mixed games player, but also has substantial results in NL Hold'em. Ramos was the first Brazilian player to make deep appearances at the EPT series in 2008, when he had 3 consecutive money finishes, starting with his live appearance online at the semifinal tables in San Remo. He finished seventh at the WSOPE in the Pot Limit Omaha event in 2010.

Although Mojave started playing poker seriously later than his teammates, he quickly reached the more experienced Brazilian players with his results and boldness. He used to play guitar and sing in a band, and is also very active in many sports, having played soccer in semi-pro level teams. Ramos left his job in a bank around 2007 to focus only in playing and studying poker, and since then has traveled the world and Brazil in pursuit of acquiring more results and experience.

Mojave was signed as the PartyPoker Ambassador for Brazil in 2009, and can be found writing articles for Flop and CardPlayer Brasil, the two Brazilian poker magazines.
