Erik Cajelais has over $2 million in career tournament earnings. In 2005, after studying poker and developing his poker skills, he decided to turn pro. That year Erik made the final table at the WPT Borgata Poker Open’s $1K No-Limit Hold ‘em Championship, finishing in eighth place. In 2006 Erik made his first WSOP appearance in the $5K No-Limit Hold ‘em event. Erik finished 19th out of 600 players. He closed out 2006 with three more World Poker Tour cash finishes and a first place finish at the WPT Five Diamond Classic at the Bellagio for a $405,000 payday. In 2007, Erik had a strong showing at the WSOP, where he finished second to John Juanda in the $5K Pot-Limit Omaha event, pocketing $483K. In 2009 Erik won his first WSOP bracelet in the $2.5K Pot-Limit Omaha/Pot-Limit Hold ‘em event at the WSOP Europe in London. Erik walked away with over $169K, boosting his career tournament earnings to almost $1.7 million. Erik is a Full Tilt Poker Pro.
