David Chiu was born in China and made his way to the United States as a teenager.  After several careers in the hospitality industry including owning his own restaurant in Colorado, it was a job as a poker dealer that eventually lead David to be a professional poker player.  Always a quick study, David improved his concentration and reading skills by watching other players, and before long, it was apparent he was on his way to becoming winning poker player.

David has 4 WSOP bracelets, In 1999 won the first ever Tournament of Champions in Las Vegas and the World Poker Tour World Championship title in 2008, and amassed tournament earnings of over $6 million and cashed in more than 80 events.

David is considered one of the best limit hold'em players in the world, and is one of the most respected tournament players on the poker circuit.
