David "Chino" Rheem's first two World Series of Poker cashes came in 2005, the first in a limit hold'em event and the second in the Main Event, where he finished 193rd. The following year at the WSOP Chino finished second at a $1,000 No Limit Hold'em event, for a payday of $327,981. The 2008 WSOP was Chino's breakout year. He cashed in the $5,000 mixed-hold'em event, and also made the Main Event final table, one of the November Nine. Chino finished seventh for nearly $1.8 million in November. Chino went on to win the 2008 WPT Five-Diamond World Poker Classic to take home $1,538,730 and his first major title. Since then, Chino has won two events at the 2009 Asian Poker Tour stop in Macau and final tabling a third, winning an L.A. Poker Classic event, and final tabling the EPT London High Roller event in 2010.
