NBC's annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship is underway at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas!
The 64 players that were invited to the event will initially play in one of four brackets, which were drawn last night.

The Diamond Bracket players were first up.
Allen Cunningham was the first player to be eliminated when his straight and flush draws against Eric Seidel's top two pair failed to improve.
Peter Eastgate, back from retirement, knocked out the second player in the match, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson when Ferguson's flopped open ended straight failed to improve against Eastgate's pocket queens. Chris was the second person to be eliminated from the Diamond Bracket.
The third player to be eliminated, also from the Diamond Bracket was Huck Seed. Jen Harman's top pair bested Huck's ten high.
Next to be eliminated from the Diamond Bracket was Joe Hachem, followed by Eli Elezra.
Greg Raymer took it down against Mike Matusow, when Raymer, with K9 called the short stacked Matusow's Q8 pre-flop shove. Each player flopped a pair, with Raymer's pair of 9s leading Matusow's pair of 8s.
Matusow did not improve and was out of the tournament.
Phil Gorden knocked out Tom Marchese. Phil flopped two pair to Marchese's flush draw. Marchese did not improved and he was out.
Last to go out in the Diamond Bracket was Justin Young, when his A4 failed to improve against Elky's pocket kings.
