The following are World Team Poker’s Media Access Policy for the 2010 Inaugural Event at the Golden Nugget.  Please read each item carefully.

I. Media Credentials

Strict compliance at all times to each requirement is an express condition precedent to continued use of the media credential.  Granting of media credentials is at the sole discretion of World Team Poker. The following criteria will be utilized to help determine eligibility for media credentials:

A. Credentials will only be issued to employees (21 years of age and older) of recognized daily newspapers, national news services, poker publications, recognized poker news internet sites, publications that regularly cover poker, and national and local TV and radio stations.

B. By issuing media credentials, World Team Poker permits use of photos or up to 5 minutes of video for promotional or editorial purposes, solely within the assigned photographer’s media company and parent company. Other media outlets outside the parent company are not permitted to use the photos or footage.

C. Credentials can be picked up at the Media check-in table the day of the press party (location to be announced) or at the check-in table in the tournament area on the day of the tournament

D. All video footage requests must be made and approved by World Team Poker prior to the event. The World Team Poker Permission to Tape and License to Use Footage agreement must be signed by anyone using video or taking photography at an event for purposes other than hard news.

II. Photography and Video

Rules and Regulations for photography/video at the Golden Nugget, at the Press Party, the Tournament Area and the Final Table.

A. Golden Nugget (encompasses all of the areas outside of the press party and tournament arena.)

1) All photography/video taken outside of the World Team Poker tournament area requires prior approval of the Golden Nugget.

2) When photographing/video taping outside the World Team Poker tournament area, Golden Nugget Public Relations personnel must escort the photographer/videographer and will determine what may be photographed/video taped.

3) Golden Nugget Public Relations will determine physical areas that are off limits to photographers/videographers (including live gaming areas, and all back-of-house employee/staff areas.)

4) Photographers/Videographers must abide by all Golden Nugget Public Relations and Security procedures.

B. Press Party

1) Black Badges are required to wear for access to the press suites for team interviews and press party.  Each team scheduled to play at the event will be available the afternoon of May 18 for interviews.  Schedule is to be announced.  The press party will start at 7:00 p.m. at the Gold Diggers Night Club.

2) Video/photography will be allowed at the press suites and at the press party.

C. World Team Poker Tournament Arena

While in the tournament arena, you must abide by the following guidelines:

1) Black Badges are required to wear for access onto the tournament arena and must be returned after the allotted time frame

2) No video/photography of early round play will be permitted without permission of World Team Poker.

3) No video/photography of hand by hand play at the table is permitted.

4) Please do not disturb the players at the tables. The only acceptable time to approach a player is during the breaks in action or when a player steps away from the table voluntarily.

5) Please respect the player’s privacy.

6) Please do not video/photograph the players’ hole cards.

7) Please be quiet – provide similar consideration as if attending a professional golf tournament or tennis match.

8) Please do not use flash photography.

9) Because the preliminary rounds are filmed for TV, please try to keep out of the camera’s vision.

10) Gaming-related logos worn on media attire are not permitted.

D. World Team Poker Final Table

1) Media must remain in the press box and are not allowed on set for reporting purposes.

2) Photographers will be invited in before taping begins for photography of the final table players.  Photographers will be invited for winner photography and video interviews only after the winner has completed contractual interviews and promotional obligations.

III. Photo Guidelines

A. Credentialed photographers can use images only for editorial purposes and may provide photos only to the accredited organization listed on their approved credential application form. Any other use is strictly prohibited.

B. Flash photography is strictly prohibited inside the tournament room.

C. Once any tournament event gets overcrowded due to space constraints, photographer access inside the ropes will be restricted. (Photographs may be taken from outside the ropes.)

D. Photographers are allowed at the final table only after the winner has completed contractual interviews and promotional obligations.

E. Credentials do not authorize photography (or video) outside the tournament area; accredited organizations are prohibited from capturing images of the Golden Nugget’s casino, hotel, restaurants, and all other areas, without the prior consent of the Golden Nugget.

F. Representatives of photo collection and merchandising houses are not eligible for media credentials.

IV. VIDEO GUIDELINES 

A. Shooting of hand by hand play of any World Team Poker tournament is strictly prohibited.

B. All organizations are prohibited from streaming live video footage from the event.

C. No video cameras are permitted inside the tournament room without an escort from a member of the World Team Poker’s public relations team. Escorted crews will be limited to 5 minutes per day to obtain b-roll footage; no player interviews permitted inside the tournament room, except during the winner’s presentation ceremony where audio and video can be shot and winner interview can be obtained.

D. Video interviews may only be conducted at the dedicated “interview area” located in close proximity to the Grand on May 18. When picking up media credentials, video crews should identify their interest in shooting video at tournament, and World Team Poker public relations staff will show you the location. This is the only location where interviews are permitted.

VI. ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Members of the media with a credential are forbidden from using, carrying or setting up electronic equipment such as computers, smart phones (including, but not limited to: Blackberry, iPhone, and/or Android), Personal Digital Assistants, cellular telephones or transmitters of any kind inside the tournament area. (This includes any device used in conjunction with Live radio remotes). These devices may be utilized in the Press Box throughout the duration of the tournament.

VIII. TRADEMARKS 

No bearer or accredited media organization may display or otherwise use the Golden Nugget’s logo or trademark, the World Team Poker logo or trademark, without advance written permission from the Golden Nugget and/or World Team Poker. This prohibition includes web sites and other media.

X. LIABILITY 

Neither the Golden Nugget, World Team Poker, nor any of its subsidiaries or affiliates is responsible for theft or damage of any equipment in use by bearer or accredited media organization.

The accredited media organization and the bearer assume all risk incident to the performance by the bearer of his or her services; assume all risk incident to attending World Team Poker events; agree that they are not acting for the Golden Nugget or World Team Poker in any manner and are not employees or agents of those organizations; and agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Golden Nugget, World Team Poker, each of their parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective agents and employees from and against all liability, loss, damage or expense resulting from or arising out of the issuance and use of this credential or the Bearer’s presence at the Event.

XII. ENFORCEMENT

Any media credential holder who is deemed disorderly, who fails to comply with any of the foregoing terms, or any set forth by tournament officials, and all security measures, may be subject to immediate ejection from the property and prosecution, and may subject the accredited organization to revocation of its credentials for future World Team Poker events.

Not withstanding any other provision herein, this credential is a courtesy to bearer only and creates no economic or other legally recognized interest in the bearer and this credential may be revoked at any time for any reason or no reason in the sole and absolute discretion of the Golden Nugget, World Team Poker or any agent or employee of either in the foregoing.

Credentialed media are permitted to wear as part of their clothing one standard logo of their organization that is no larger than four inches vertical or horizontal and commonly accepted as normal dress attire. Logos for online gaming sites are not allowed
