Everybody is waiting in giddy anticipation for the upcoming inaugural World Team Poker event which will be held on May 19th at the Golden Nugget. However, it was only until recently that the roster of members for Team America was announced. Hand-picked by Doyle Brunson and Phil Hellmuth, nine players will be representing America for the global event.... Their reputation as poker pros cannot be discounted as they have all proven themselves time and again to be some of the best in the world.

China Wins 2010 World Team Poker Event

The players on each team were representing their national country. The tournament format saw eight players competing on each of the Round One tables. Only the top two finishers would move on to the final table.
