The 2011 World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic $10,000 no-limit hold’em main event was won by Gregory Brooks.  Brooks was able to best Carlos Mortensen, the most successful player in WPT history and three-time WPT title holder and Vivek Rajkumar, who was seeking his second WPT title, with his aggressive play.

Team Spain Captain Carlos Mortensen finished third bringing his career WPT earnings to $6,394,988, and total career earnings to over $10 million.

Rajkumar finished second, bringing his total career earnings to $4,089,806.
